Blooms and Bundles! @ Standard Parts Studios

Set your intention for the changing season in this two-part workshop, exploring plants as a powerful source of natural color and personal connection. Through this workshop, textile artist Kristin Arzt, and floral designer, Gina Rose Baiamonte, will share their expertise in textiles, plants, and intentional design by offering a workshop to create cloth as a healing and artful object through florals.

Part 1: Meditations + Plant Learnings + Bouquet Making

Let’s get connected and grounded as we start off with a floral meditation. Opening our intuition and letting them guide us through and into our creative process. Next we will dive into the knowledge of the chosen plant materials. Connecting to each element and letting the plants guide you in a workshop how-to on the hand tied bouquet.

Part 2: Natural Dyes + Mandala Manifestations

You will create your own bundle-dyed mandala onto silk, while deepening your relationship and knowledge of the plant materials you are working with. Sharing the overlap of plants as a tool for creative exploration, medicine, and manifestation, you will learn the basics of natural dyes, working with natural fibers, and intention-setting with locally-sourced plants.

What’s included:

→ All materials

→ Plant talk and meditation

→ Take home bouquet

→ Natural Dye instruction

→ Tea and snacks
